Photo Dynamic Therapy (PDT) is an Alternative treatment for cancer. Alternative means choice or option just like surgery, radiotherapy or chemotherapy. It is based on the principle that a photosensitising agent responds to a specific light wavelength to release reactive oxygen species inside cancer cells to disrupt their function.
