Slide 15: Rectal Probe Application for Prostate Cancer

The prostate gland can be readily accessed via a rectal light emitting probe. Here the chlorophyll treated tumour is shown as green in the prostate gland. The red probe is placed directly against the prostate per rectum. This is an example of a minimally invasive application of PDT.
